Make your telegram Chanel public
If you’ve created a private Telegram channel and now want to make it public, you can easily change its settings to allow anyone to join. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
1. Open Telegram App
Launch the Telegram app on your phone or desktop and log into your account.
2. Go to Your Channel
Navigate to the channel that you want to make public. You can find it in your chat list or search for it using the search bar.
3. Open Channel Info
Once inside the channel, tap on the channel name at the top to open the channel’s profile page.
4. Tap on the Edit Icon
On the channel profile page, tap the pencil icon (Android) or gear icon (iOS) in the top-right corner to enter the settings.
5. Select “Channel Type”
In the settings menu, tap on “Channel Type” (if using desktop, this option is listed as “Edit Channel”).
6. Choose “Public”
Under “Channel Type,” select the “Public” option.
7. Set a Username
Once you select “Public,” you’ll be asked to set a unique username for your channel. This will be part of the public link to your channel (e.g., t.me/yourchannelname). Choose a username and confirm.
8. Save Your Settings
After setting the username, tap “Save” to confirm the changes.
Your channel is now public and anyone with the link can join. You can share your public channel link with anyone, and new members can join easily.
